Keto recipe: Bulletproof coffee


  1. One cup (240 ml) of hot coffee.
  2. One tablespoon coconut oil.
  3. One tablespoon unsalted butter.
  4. One tablespoon heavy whipping cream – optional.
  5. Sweetener of choice (Erythritol, Stevia, Xylitol…) – optional.

Mix all ingredients in a blender until well combined or use a coffee hand mixer.

    I have bulletproof coffee every morning, and through trial and error, have learned a few things. First, the butter has to be grass fed (such as Kerrygold), not the typical butter that most folks have in their fridge. Second, a coffee hand mixer really won’t do the trick, go with a blender, or better yet an immersion blender. The Immersion blender does the job beautifully with far less to clean up. Also It you don’t like the coconut flavor in your coffee, you can use MCT oil.
